1. Wow Wow West Genuine
Known for their huge portions, this enterprising hawker stall has garnered a legion of fans for their local take on Western fare.
Whilst not the most premium of cuts, their beef steak is still pretty much the best value you can get under $10.
$9 gets you a juicy steak with three sides. That’s just hard to beat!

2. Uno Beef House
With almost 30 years of history, you know you’re in for a treat at this family-friendly establishment!
At Uno Beef House, you get old school Singapore style western food with a twist.
Fans of the hawker stall rave about their Black Pepper Ribeye Steak ($15) which comes with a potato croquette stuffed with cheese, a slice of tomato as well as a dollop of baked beans.

3. iSteaks
If you are looking for a steak that would not cost an arm or a leg and can be enjoyed in an aircon environment; iSteaks is your joint.
iSteaks started off with just a humble outlet at Sergaoon Gardens, but has since moved out from there and opened up four outlets in Maju, Buona Vista, Tampines and Suntec City.
Their steaks start from $19 nett for their most affordable New Zealand striploin cut (200g) that comes with 2 delicious sides.

4. Huber’s Butchery & Bistro
Renowned for the butchery, Huber’s Bistro should be one to look out for as well.
You’ll want to try their Flat Iron Steak topped with Huber’s Paris butter served with french fries that goes for just $19++.
Meat connoisseurs take note – the bistro is located right beside their very own butchery!

5. Steakville Steakhouse in Singapore
Another hidden treasure, their menu offerings are small but unique.
Offering the lesser-known cuts of beef, you’d be pleased to find hanger or flat iron steaks at this establishment.
Their most affordable Hanger Steak starts from $20+ (10% service charge) is seasoned with fancy Val D’Elsa Seasalt and comes with their house salad, beetroot puree and truffle mustard.

6. Meet 4 Meat
Helmed by ex-chefs from renowned steakhouses such as Wooloomooloo (at Swissôtel), Chef Jimmy and Gerald decided that it was time to provide quality steaks at an affordable price to heartland folks.
Their steaks start from $23 for their most affordable Australia grass-fed beef ribeye (240g) that comes with a side salad. Yum.

7. Fat Belly Steakhouse Singapore
You’ve certainly heard of Speakeasy Bars. Have you heard of Speakeasy Steakhouses though?
Quietly earning silent praise as a hidden gem at Serene centre, Fat Belly may be small in size, but their steak offerings are potent in flavours.
Presently simply, they’re committed to well-marbled alternative and quality cuts, cooked perfectly.
Their prices for their steaks start from $32++ for their Iconic Wagyu MS 4/5 Petite Tender (200g).
However, do note that their steaks do not come with sides.

8. The RANCH Steakhouse (By Astons)
True to Aston’s framework that most of us are familiar with, diner’s need not worry about breaking the bank at The Ranch.
While not necessarily the cheapest, their claim to fame – dry-aged beef certainly qualifies as premium cuts at a mid-range price.
Their most affordable steak is the New Zealand Grass-Fed Black Angus Sirloin (250g) that goes for $35++.

One of the very few Halal steakhouses in Singapore, this is perfect for our Muslim friends!
It’s about time we added even more Halal-certifications to traditionally Western restaurants.

12. Bistecca Tuscan Steakhouse
Instead of the usual American style steakhouses, have a go at an Italian themed one this time around!
Known for their Florentine-style steaks, this steakhouse located along the quiet stretch of Mohamed Sultan Road should be on your foodie radar.
Their prices start from $54++ for their Hanger Steak (200g) but go all the way up to $198++ for their more premium steaks.

Known for their Spanish Tapas style menus, steaks here are prepared Argentinian style. Think chimichurri sauces, lightly salted and melt in your mouth tender meats – Perfecto!
For the more affordable option, their Ojo de Bife [Rib Eye Steak (300g)] from Argentina goes for about $60++.

The restaurant is famous for using a parrilla grill. Treat yourself to charcoaled, smokey grilled meats.

An instant classic, treat yourself to a meal of true extravagance.
Still served on their iconic silver cart, one whiff of their roasted prime ribs in the dining room and you’ll be asking for seconds.

One of my personal favourites, their claim to fame is simple – “The Best Steak… Anywhere”. And they’re not wrong.
Pro tip: As tempting as it may be, skip the large seafood platters. Instead, go straight for their meats.
Remember you’re here for one thing and one thing only – steak.
But it will cost you as prices from their steaks start from $99++.

Opened by world-renowned, 3 Michelin star chef, Wolfgang Puck, this is the place to be to dine on ultra premium steaks.
It doesn’t come cheap as diners have reported that their steaks start from $118++.

You wouldn’t think to associate a medical centre with a steakhouse. But here we are.
Serving Japanese style grilled steaks, their set lunches are incredibly popular among the lunch and dinner crowd.
