I’m a self-proclaimed budget hunter.

While others camp for the newest iPhone launch, I camp for food deals, promo codes, and sales.

Being who I am, there are two words that can get me excited.

We previously saw how credit cardholders could ‘triple-dip’ and maximise rewards.

Or how we could link our Grab accounts to FavePay to enjoy additional rewards as well.

Google Pay users can now earn cashback and rewards through scanning any FavePay SGQR at over 15,000 F&B outlets and retailers.

This includes Subway, Food Republic, and Food Junction, BreadTalk, Puma and more.

This means being able to earn cash and vouchers via Google Pay on top of the cashback that is typically awarded via Fave merchants!

How To Stack Cashback and Rewards with Google Pay and FavePay

1. Open Google Pay app and swipe right to access the QR Scanner

2. Scan any SGQR where FavePay or PayNow is accepted

3. Complete payment and immediately earn up to 20% cashback on your next purchase with the same merchant

Your earned cashback will be automatically applied when a new transaction is made with the same merchant using Google Pay.

4. Google Pay provides a scratch card containing cashback of up to $10 and weekly merchant vouchers for every eligible transaction

How Much Cashback or Rewards Can I Earn?

Under this new partnership, Google Pay users can earn up to 20% cashback when they scan any Favepay SGQR across over 15,000 F&B outlets and merchants.

For a limited time period, individuals can earn up to $3 for each of the first three FavePay transactions made via Google Pay, with a minimum spending of $3.

Best E-Wallets and Payment Apps to Use in Singapore

As payment capabilities evolve, there are now various e-wallets and payment apps that are available to us to choose from.

Paying for things has never been easier, as we can now send money or pay for groceries with just a tap of a button.

With so many offerings available to consumers like DBS PayLah!, FavePay, Google Pay, and GrabPay…

You might also be wondering what’re the differences between them.

And which is the best mobile wallet to use.
