Types of HDB Season Parking
Monthly Season Parking Rates For Cars & Motorcycles
Contrary to what most think, you’ll be able to look for other car parks within the same HDB car park group to park at if your preferred one is full with a season parking.
Season parking is for long-term parking and is sold on a calendar month basis.
If the car park you’re applying for is close to where you live or work, you can still apply even if you don’t reside in an HDB apartment.
In situations where your workplace is close to an HDB estate, you can register for HDB season parking at a nearby HDB parking lot.
Sales for seasonal parking are also first-come, first-served, so apply them quickly.
Do keep in mind that many drivers undoubtedly have the same thought, so be ready to face fierce competition!

Notes: Tier 1 season parking rate will apply to a resident's first car of the household. Resident must be the registered flat owner/ occupier/ tenant living in the HDB precinct served by the car park. Tier 2 season parking rate will apply to the residents' subsequent cars and all cars of non-residents. These two tiers will also apply to registered flat owners/ tenants/ stall holders of HDB shops and market stalls. |
Parking lots in high occupancy car parks are allocated according to an order of priority:

When the parking application becomes available, you are strongly encouraged to purchase it immediately as sales will be opened to other priority groups in the subsequent days.
If this is your first time purchasing season parking, you can apply for the current month at full rate or buy a longer-term season parking with a pro-rated charge for the current month plus the following month(s).
However, termination of the pro-rated season parking (i.e. current month and subsequent month) is not allowed.
This means that you won’t be able to cancel your season parking from 13 March to 30 April if you bought it from 13 March to 31 May. However, you can opt to end your season parking on April 30 and get a refund for any unused season parking fees from May 1 to May 31.
Before you purchase any, remember to use HDB’s e-Service to check if there is available season parking for sale for each vehicle type.
Family Season Parking
With Family Season Parking (FSP), you can park at the car park lots reserved for season parking holders near your family members’ homes.
This is beneficial to those who are caregivers to older parents, and those whose parents are caring for grandchildren.
As you may make regular visits to more than one family member, there is no limit on the number of FSPs you can purchase. FSP also costs half the price of normal season parking.
This is, however, subject to the availability of parking lots at your selected car park.

Make use of the One-Motoring website to search for locations of various centralised heavy vehicle parks, availability of parking lots, vehicle parking certificate schemes and associated rules and regulations governing the car parks.
Concessionary Season Parking for Motorcycles
Concessionary Season Parking for Motorcycles (CSP) is an additional service offered by HDB for riders.
The CSP allows HDB residents who already have a season parking for their motorcycles at their residential parking space to park their vehicles for free in designated URA and HDB parking lots, except red motorcycle lots at other HDB car parks.
The price for CSP is $20 per month at both surface car parks and sheltered car parks.
If you are an existing season parking holder, you can top up $3 or $5 per month for the CSP, depending on the type of car park serving your HDB flat/HDB shop with living quarters.

Remember to renew as early as possible to secure a parking spot because it might be hard with so many drivers in Singapore.
Do note that the renewed period of FSP must not be longer than the renewed period of your normal season parking.
For example, if you renew your normal season parking for 3 months from June to August, you cannot renew your FSP for 5 months from June to October.
To renew your season parking on time regularly, you can opt for automatic renewal via GIRO which gives you a 2% rebate for each successful transaction.
Alternatively, you can opt for recurring credit card payments and reap benefits such as cashback, rebates, miles or rewards.
If you do not renew your HDB season parking in a timely manner, short-term parking charges would apply.
Consequently, you cannot park your vehicle in lots reserved for season parking holders and any short-term parking charges paid will not be refunded.
How to Transfer Season Parking Ownership
You can transfer your season parking permanently or temporarily.
There may be differences in charges if you are transferring to a different type of vehicle or car park.
For instance, if you’re transferring the season parking from a motorcycle ($15) to a car ($80), you’ll need to pay the difference of $65 for a lot in a surface car park.
Conversely, if you’re changing from a car to a motorcycle, you’ll get a refund on the difference in season parking charges.
Note: For existing temporary season parking holders, you will need to cancel it via Cancellation of Temporary Transfer of Season Parking service before reapplying via the Temporary Transfer of Season Parking service with your intended change.

For example, transfer from a surface car park to a multi-storey car park. No refund will be given if the temporary change is to a car park with a lower season parking rate. Any unused period of the temporary season parking will not be refunded. |

How to Terminate HDB Season Parking
You can terminate any of the season parking if you do not need it anymore.
HDB will refund you the unexpired season parking charges within two weeks to your bank account.
All requests for refund must be made prior to the termination as HDB will not backdate refunds.
Note: You cannot hold an FSP if your normal season parking has been terminated.
For instance, you would need to cancel both the regular season parking and the FSP if you’ve moved into private property and no longer need the HDB parking.
How to Check Your Parking Validity
You can check the validity of your season parking and car parks you can park at via HDB’s website.
From there, you should be able to look for other car parks within the same HDB car park group to park at.
HDB Free Parking Scheme For Non-Season Parking Holders
Say you’re not keen to get a season parking pass as you might not be driving as often, do you know that HSD has a Free Parking Scheme (FPS) at various HDB car parks?
Under the HDB FPS, you can enjoy free parking from 7am to 10:30pm on Sundays and public holidays at most HDB car parks.
Note that this does not apply to parking lots reserved for season parking holders.
You should look out for the orange sign plate installed on the Supplementary sign plates like this:
If there is no orange sign plate, this means that free parking is not available.
You can also use HDB’s Centralised Map to locate the nearest FPS car park.
FYI: These lots are marked by red or bicoloured (red-and-white) lines.
