Jewel Changi Airport Canopy Park Price List: Is It Worth Going To Jewel Again?

profileKenneth Fong

So you’ve tried the burgers at Shake Shack and braved the snaking lines for a taste of A&W’s root beers and curly fries. You’ve also experienced what it’s like to be packed like a can of sardines at the HSBC Rain Vortex just so you can get one for the Gram.

Picture this:

Only with 5 thousand other people’s heads obscuring your view, of course.

And just when you think you’re done with Jewel Changi Airport… Guess what? The Canopy Park at the top floor just opened its doors to the public on 10 Jun 2019.

I know.

I know.

With regard to everything Jewel Changi Airport related, we’re dangerously approaching this territory:

But let’s not be too quick to judge.

Have a look at the attractions (and prices) that await you at the topmost level (Level 5) of Jewel and decide if it’s worth braving the crowds again!

    Because I tried.

    Moving on…

    Canopy Park

    Hours: 9am to 3am (Daily)

Buying a Canopy Park Ticket gives you access to:

    1) Discovery Slides

    Source: Jewel Changi Airport

A giant sculpture that is also a playground and a viewing deck.

    2) Foggy Bowls

    Source: Jewel Changi Airport

Think garden with mist emanating from the ground.

    3) Petal Garden

    Source: Jewel Changi Airport

Displays of seasonal flowers from all around the world.

    4) Topiary Walk

    Source: Jewel Changi Airport

Play “Spot the Topiary Animal” amidst the greenery.

    Canopy Bridge

    Hours: 9am to 3am (Daily)

    Source: Jewel Changi Airport

The Canopy Bridge is a 50m-long bridge that is suspended 23m above the ground and gives you a great vantage point of the Rain Vortex.

If you’ve got a fear of heights, then you might wish to skip this as the glass-panel floor at the centre of the bridge allows visitors on the bridge to look through to level 1.

    Changi Experience Studio

    Hours: 10am to 10pm (Daily)

    Source: Jewel Changi Airport

It’s like a really high-tech, mini Science Centre. But you get to learn about the history and development of Changi and even experience a digital, interactive journey through time and space (yeah don’t take my word for it… just go and experience it for yourself).

    Hedge Maze

    Hours: 9am to 3am (till 9 Jul 2019); 10am to 10pm (10 Jul 2019 onwards)

    Source: Jewel Changi Airport

Live out your Harry Potter dreams by pretending that it’s the Triwizard Maze (any Potter-heads here?). Or laugh at your friends from the watchtower, in the middle of the maze, while they try to fumble their way out.

    Mirror Maze

    Hours: 9am to 3am (till 9 Jul 2019); 10am to 10pm (10 Jul 2019 onwards)

    Source: Jewel Changi Airport

Not a good idea to compete and “see who can finish it the fastest loh” – because it is HIGHLY likely that you will walk into a mirror.

    I know.

Because I tried. By the way, my personal best is 46 seconds (and one bruised forehead).

    (Disclaimer: DO NOT TRY THIS.)

    Manulife Sky Nets – Walking

    Hours: 9am to 3am (till 9 Jul 2019); 10am to 10pm (10 Jul 2019 onwards)

    Source: Jewel Changi Airport

Test your balance as you walk on a net that is suspended 25m above the ground. Again. Not for those who are afraid of heights.

    Manulife Sky Nets – Bouncing

    Hours: 9am to 3am (till 9 Jul 2019); 10am to 10pm (10 Jul 2019 onwards)

    Source: Jewel Changi Airport

It’s a 250m long net which you can bounce around on. The highest point is 8m above the Canopy Park. And no. You won’t bounce SO high that you’ll hit the glass ceiling. Although you’ll probably try… because I did…

Will you be heading to Jewel Changi Airport to check out the Canopy Park? How long did you take to complete the Mirror Maze?
