Shake Shack
Surprisingly, the queue for Shake Shack wasn’t as long as the queue for A&W but I did notice that their store is way bigger too. It probably seems less overwhelming at Shake Shack because they’ve got way more seats than A&W.
The typical waiting time on a weekend is about one to two hours long.

The Alley
This popular bubble tea store is FINALLY in Singapore! No more crossing the border for some of that brown sugar bubble tea goodness! They’ve got a really simple menu, but all their drinks are executed well – I’ll take quality over quantity anytime, please!

I wouldn’t say it is in In Good Company but they are located at the entrance of In Good Company. (haha)
Anyhoo, the ever popular gelato boutique opened their second store at Jewel Changi. The artisanal creations are still as good but the only thing missing is the INSTA-WORTHY WALL that you can find at their Katong outlet.

Before I made a trip down to Jewel, I wondered to myself,
“Why were we willing to spend so much to build Jewel?”
We have already been crowned the best airport in the world for 6 consecutive years. Why do we still need to add more jewels to our crown? (Editor’s note: I’m letting this slide…)
Our community quickly chimed in with their views, supported with statistics, and a lot of them pointed out that Jewel is extremely important to Singapore’s tourism sector.
It was also arguably the best publicity move by the Changi Airport Group as no amount of money could have brought this amount of global and media attention to Changi Airport.

How To Get To Jewel Changi Airport?
You might ask where exactly is Jewel? (Especially if you’re ride-hailing.)
Address: 78 Airport Blvd, Singapore 819666
But if you’re heading there via public transport, here are your options:
- By MRT: Changi Airport Station (CG2)
- By Bus: 24, 27, 34, 36, 53, 110 and 858
(Alight at Terminal 1 and there will be signs to guide you to Jewel)
Or if you’re intending to drive there, you gotta know Jewel’s insane parking charges:

Trust me, your usual go-to Hot Tomato or Bengawan Solo looks nothing like the store-fronts you are familiar with.
