Who’s excited for Chinese New Year’s (CNY) 2022?
As only up to five people are allowed at one household per visit. We have to limit our gatherings and refrain from yelling ‘HUAT AH!’ while tossing our yu sheng.
Although it’s a new year, some things will remain the same as last year.
In the spirit of embracing both old and new, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) encourages us to reuse our old notes or give out e-hong baos this year!
However, some of us still prefer to get our hands on some sparkling new notes for CNY.
Just take note, we cannot just do walk-ins to exchange for new notes this year.
If you’re one who still prefers handing physical red packets to your relatives, here are some things you have to take note of when you want to exchange or order new notes online this CNY.
