Thanks to the internet, there is a rise in Telemedicine, a medical service that provides online consultations, diagnosis, and medicine delivery in the comforts of your home.

For those who are too lazy or scared to visit a doctor during this period, here are some telemedicine services you can go for in Singapore!

Disclaimer: With the current Covid-19 outbreak in Singapore, it is highly advisable that you follow up closely with your doctor and seek out the appropriate treatments. Make sure you visit a GP/doctor if you experience respiratory symptoms such as cough, fever, or shortness of breath.

What Are Telemedicine Apps?

Telemedicine apps basically allow you to consult a doctor via video call or message-based chats in the comfort of your home.

After talking to the doctor, you can get your medicine and MC delivered to your doorstep.

Of course, with its convenience, telemedicine comes with its own sets of risks such as misdiagnosis. So do remember to monitor your symptoms closely, and take necessary follow up actions if needed!

Telemedicine in Singapore

While Telemedicine affords a level of convenience that may not be as accessible to us in the past, it is important to know that Telemedicine serves to treat milder forms of illnesses, and may not be the place to go should you be suffering from acute or severe illnesses.

For serious concerns and emergencies, please seek healthcare consultation from medical professionals, clinics or hospitals.
