Do you need to be travelling to buy from iShopChangi?
Nope, you can shop at iShopChangi even if you are not travelling!
For Departure Travellers, the prices you see on iShopChangi are GST and duty-free.
For Non-travellers and Arrival Travellers, GST and duty are absorbed* by the retailers so you can enjoy shopping at the same prices, even though you are not travelling.

Get Your Travelling Items Before Departing From Singapore
Do note that you can only start purchasing your purchases from 30 days to 12 hours before your flight. In other words, you must purchase your items at least 12 hours before your boarding time.

While it’s unclear whether Apple iPhone 15 will be cheaper on iShopChangi, we are sure that Apple AirPods are currently going for a discounted price of $185?!
WHAT?! The price has been shaved off by about 22%, I have to say, it is QUITE A STEAL.
Do check for the respective modes of collection or even delivery options as most of the electronics are only available in the departure hall. The delivery option is free if you spend more than S$380 in a single transaction.

We all know that shopping at duty-free stores is definitely cheaper than what we have on the roads of Orchard as it does not charge you the 8% tax that will soon become 9%.

Not much difference in the food prices available on iShopChangi duty-free, only about 6% cheaper. Purchasing of food items is only available for collection in the departure hall of Changi Airport as well.

DFS T Galleria
Singaporeans and residents of Singapore can shop at T Galleria by DFS, and they are not required to depart on an international flight.
Head over to the store at Orchard Road when you’re hanging around that area!
However, it’s essential to note that the prices at DFS Galleria for duty-free products may be more attractive for international travellers because the primary purpose of duty-free shopping is to provide travellers with savings on products they can take out of the country without paying local taxes and duties.
Similarly, the selection might be limited too as compared to iShopChangi.
Duty-Free @ Cruise Centre Terminals
Cruise vacations have become more popular thanks to COVID-19 where Cruise-to-Nowhere was a thing.
When you’re boarding the cruise, drop by the duty-free shops at the respective Arrival Halls to get your hands on duty-free products.
You should be able to find an assortment of products across multiple categories, including alcohol, tobacco, cosmetics, fashion and travel accessories!
