It’s crazy to think how a tiny virus has totally transformed the way we work.

Source: u/RespectMyAuthoriteh | Reddit | Size of COVID-19 virus particle for scale

Early this year, millions of employees were suddenly told to work from home because of the COVID-19 pandemicĀ and the Circuit Breaker measures implemented to contain the virus.

According to the Ministry of Manpower:

ā€œWorking from home must be theĀ default mode of working (including companies resuming operations in Phases One and Two of Circuit Break). Employees who have been working from home so far must continue to do so, and go to the office only where there is no alternative.ā€

It seems like working from home will be the default for the near future.

As it might be a while before a viable COVID-19 vaccine is widely available.

But working from home (WFH) might not be the most conducive for some, because of:

  • crying children
  • loud construction noise, or
  • other distractions that’ll disrupt your usual productivity

If you are looking for a peaceful and private place to tackle your work tasks.

Why not consider WFH?

But instead of working from home… you can work from a hotel instead.

Although it is not a work suite or ‘Work from Hotel’ package per se, you still get a tranquil environment to work and study in ā€” albeit with lesser privacy.

It is also the cheapest option on this list.

  • Extension per hour: $4
  • Starting price per hour: $6

To gain access to the Changi Lounge, you will need to purchase the two-hour package for $12.
