Starting from 5 November 2019, Electric scooters (E-scooters) will be banned from footpaths in Singapore. This ban will be strictly enforced from the year 2020 onwards. E-scooter offenders will be slapped with a fine of up to $2,000 or even 3 months of jail time.
It's the highest percentage jump since 1998.
