If you’re seeking a Housing and Development Board (HDB) Build to Order (BTO) flat after missing the February 2024 BTO launch, you’re in luck.

This is because the June 2024 HDB BTO launch lineup will see about 6,938 BTO flats launched across six estates: Jurong East, Woodlands, Tampines, Yishun, Kallang/Whampoa, and Queenstown.

A brief look at the map shows that the new site would be surrounded by four MRT stations (assuming no changes to MRT plans): Tanjong Rhu MRT (TE23), Katong Park MRT (TE24), Mountbatten MRT (CC7), and Stadium MRT (CC6).

However, there’s a catch—the walking distance to each MRT station is at least 10 minutes.

If you’re lucky enough to move in, a prominent perk is being able to listen to live concerts. The BTO is directly opposite Singapore Sports Hub, where international acts such as Taylor Swift and Coldplay performed!

Another perk you shouldn’t miss is that it is right by the Geylang River, offering the possibility of a great view from your house.

Starting with June 2024’s BTO launch, young couples will only have to pay a first down payment of 2.5 per cent of the flat’s price — down from a staggered down payment scheme of 5 or 10 per cent for couples who are 30 years old and below.

This is part of HDB’s effort to help young couples increase their eligibility for the Enhanced Housing Grant (EHG) to afford the initial down payment, ease their upfront costs, and start their homeownership journey early.

Next BTO Launch 2024: New BTO Launch 2024 in October

The next BTO launch is scheduled for October 2024. HDB plans to release around 8,500 flats in Ang Mo Kio, Bedok, Bukit Batok, Geylang, Jurong West, Kallang/Whampoa, Pasir Ris, Sengkang, and Woodlands.
Additionally, 260 Community Care Apartment units will be available in Geylang.

This will be the last BTO launch in 2024 as HDB announced earlier this year that from 2024, there will only be three exercises compared to four in the previous years.
